I have fed a LOT of baby food over the years, and while it does tend
to make the stool less firm, the color in a relatively healthy ferret
is still the normal brown color. I wouldn't be too concerned if it
was just a little lighter in color. But I have never seen it red
unless the ferret has eaten something with a lot of red dye in it.
