I mean the sort of oblong pad in the center of the foot. As I mentioned,
my BG meter only requires a drop of blood the size of a pin head and
sometimes it takes more than one stick to get even that much. What kind
of meter did you get and how much blood does it take? Most take a full
drop which you wont get by sticking a pad. If you have to clip a nail,
watch closely and get just the very tip of the pink and have Quick Stop
or other stypic powder handy. I'm lucky, I guess, because my crew love
their vet and it doesn't stress them much to see him.
