Megan -
My vet does the shots separate also. And thank goodness. After 5
years of shots (the first 3 years the rabies and distemper were mixed
in the same syringe and given at the same time), my ferret had a
reaction to her rabies vaccine today. Her two sisters, ages 3 and 5,
had no reaction. From here on in, they will be pretreated before
getting vaccinated.
