Subject: Follow-up Questions on Ace Inhibitors (Benazepril)

Hi again,
I was wondering if any vets or owners have any
clinical experience with Benazepril in ferrets (aside
from the one person who mentioned it to me :) - THANKS
:)) - Fortekor is the brand name Novartis uses for
pets and Lotensin is the human brand. It's a second
generation ACE inhibitor that apparently is excreted
(in dogs at least) equally by the kidneys and
hepatobiliary system and can be used when renal
failure is present.
Just curious if anyone knows how *ferrets* have
reacted to this drug.

Thanks for any info,
Hugs to all (and Mighty Mouse sends ferret kisses)
