Subject: Bob C: In Portland--Come and See Me
If you are in the Portland, Oregon area, or don't mind driving, make
sure to stop by the ferret frolic and make fun of my shirts and sore
shoulder. I'll be giving a few lectures, I mean, "talks" to the good
people in Oregon this weekend, so bring the no-doze and a dictionary.
Obviously, I will be away from my email during this time, so don't get
bummed out if I don't answer mail for a week. Chris Mathis will be my
boss for the weekend, and I am sure if you contact her, you can get
directions, times, and color schemes so we don't clash.
I'll be seeing MC there, and maybe I'll take a few of you to see the
nearby archaeological site I've worked on for the last 5 years. It is
right off the river, and while a nice walk to get to, the scenery is
spectacular. Bring your binoculars and you might see some river otters.
If you are a birder, bring your list.
