Hi Starangels,
Proheart 6 is the new heartworm product from Ft Dodge.
It is an injectable product that prevents heartworms for 6
months. It contains moxidectin, which is similiar to ivermectin.
The company has not done any work with cats or ferrets at this
time. It is a good product for dogs, but we do not know about
its use in ferrets yet.

PS Proheart has been out in Australia for a while now, so even

is a new product here it has been used down under for a while.
