Subject: Lucy's tenn panel, I am so confused
As I have posted earlier, Lucy is my second ferret
this summer who appears to have adrenal disease. She
started losing fur right before Toby's surgery in mid
June; and the ultrasound (which was done for free)
showed both adrenals appeared to be enlarged. But my
vet wasn't sure because they are still in training
with the ultrasound so they ran the panel. The results
came back today; they are normal! Could it be the
pediapred, which is 1.25 ml every other day, be
masking something? Or is it just the insulinoma? Her
hair loss is profound; she looks just like Toby before
his surgery. I will search the archives as well. Help!
