Subject: ferret scooting
I am The human of 13 fuzzies. I see both male and female
fuzzies doing the "toy scoot" . Sometimes one fert will watch
the other fert do this , and run to steal it as fast as they
can!!! This can lead to hours of laughter!! Sometimes it's a
sock or beanie baby!!
On the question of insulinoma ... Hobbes is I guestimate 8 yrs
old. He's been with me for 3 yrs. Soon having taking him I
noticed the classical signs of it. Dazed, looking into
space... He has been on pred for the whole time , his dose has
increased from 2.5 mg pred once a day to 5 mg twice a day. I
have not seen any major changes in him.As a vet tech I have
seen some bad cases come in, they make me realize how lucky I
am to still have him in my life!! I decided not to do surgery
do to his age. I give the pred in a little bit of nutrical, he
loves it and will beg for it as soon as he's out to play..
