just an idea, but perhaps the initial reaction was to the
fleas, and the frontline also caused a reaction? i know
that when my ferrets had a few fleas, i advantaged them
all--no trouble in any, other than zillah, who developed a
firm subcutaneous lump at the application site. the lump
did dwindle fairly quicky, and was gone within a month or
so.
