Subject: Lucy's hair loss

Thank you to the two people who responded to my post
about Lucy's adrenal panel being normal. Yes, she has
had insulinoma since March 2000, but at that time I
noticed that her once thick full coat had thinned out
to a degree; but this is dramatic hair loss, she is
bald. She is more aggressive as well. She looks and
acts like Toby did right before his surgery, including
her skin which is hot to touch. She is eating and
drinking well. Could the pred or even the insulinoma
masked the panel results? I am thinking seriously of
asking if exploratory surgery is an option at this
point.

One more thing: Toby's adrenal panel two months before
his surgery was "borderline" and the vet at the
University of Tenn suggested to my vet that we wait a
couple months before we do exploratory if the symptoms
continued. Of course they did. I do not want to put my
Lucy through that. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
