Subject: Lump on tail?
It's me again, with my 7 y.o. ferret who only eats Meow Mix.
(I've had no success weaning in the good stuff, so I figure,
he's 7, why bother?)
I noticed today that Max has a lump on his tail, down toward
the end. It feels like a hard round ball, about pea-sized. Is
this a chordoma? Does it need to be removed? Is it cancerous?
What else could it be?
Max will be going to see Dr. W in a couple weeks, for fasting
glucose and (bummer!) hair loss I've just noticed --
absolutely adrenal. Just seems like when it rains, it pours --
on Saturday Dr. W also diagnosed my 5 y.o. with a Grade 2/6
heart murmur. When we did the xray, her heart was like a round
ball so now she's on enalapril (sp?) once a day. My second
with cardio.
Oh well -- any info on the tail lump would be great.
