Sometimes, not always, they vomit due to an obstruction. Perhaps
some
"FerretLax" or other brand of ferret laxative will help. Just
follow the
instructions on the tube. Its very gentle and safe. If the
vomiting doesn't
clear up and the ferret becomes dehydrated (gently pull their skin
and see if
it returns quickly back in place.. if it takes a bit to go back down
they are
dehydrated. Try it on your arm to see how long it should take) you
should
immediately go to a vet. Of course an obstruction is reason enough
to see a
vet, anyway. I've given mine ferret laxatives when they start to
gag or
cough or their stools get a bit green or runny. If I don't see
improvement
w/in a day or two they go right to the vet.
