Could have swallowed something, like a rubber band which is causing
partial blockage. The oversize piece may be bouncing around in the
stomach and your ferret is still trying to pass it. Try giving
laxatone (several ribbons worth out of the tube) to help it slide
through...a couple of times. Keep monitoring and watch for
dehydration. If total blockage, your ferret will spiral down hill
fast, so be preapred to take to vet & possible surgery to remove the
object. One of my fuzzies has managed to find rubbery items 4
different times (in our ferret proofed house no less) which have
required surgery. He likes to swallow rather than chew.
