My ferret Stony did that a while back, I stopped the bleeding
and took him to the vet the next day. She took of the nail
while Stony was licking Furo-Tone of his belly.

He was given a shot of antibiotics and I was told to clean it
twice a day with hydrogen peroxide.

Now 2-3 weeks later, he's doing fine and his claw is growing!
