Have you asked vet about trying cool wet towel wraps or cool (not
cold) soaks to help bring it down intermittently? Had to do that
years ago with one. Normally fever is very useful since it helps
fight infection, but when one gets too high for too long it can be a
danger in itself. In her case the little one we had who was burning
up had caught influenza.
