about the lactose ...
you can find a product called lactinex ^sp (you would have to ask your
vet for the amount to add), at your local pharmacy it is a powder you
can add the the whipping cream... or you can sneak in a little dab of
plain yogurt. (make sure it has active cultures)
I have had much success in yogurt in not just ferrets but also cats and
Rats.
being a human diabetic I am against giving anything that contains added
sugar.
