Dear Natasha:
Tough to tell. You can assist the process by using warm washcloths
on the site two to three times a day - to dilate blood supply and
bring in cells to clean up the mess.
0.2 cc of Clavamox is a relatively small dose for a heavy infection -
it can probably be increased to .33 ccs, but only time will tell if
it is enough to handle the infection. Watch her temperature closely
and if it goes up over 103.5 - give the vet a call.
