Subject: Re: ECE...Going on for 1 month now ....HELP!

Have you tried any antibiotics for possible ulcers? When Fitz became
ill, he seemed to get a little better and then a lot worse. The vet.
recommended Biaxin in case of an ulcer due to his compromised immune
system. He is now on prednisone to help settle his inflamed bowels
and he seems to be doing quite well. He has been sick for about 1 &
1/2 months now. I know it is hard to keep feeding when they seem so
very nauseous, but you have to keep it up. It really sounds like you
need to talk to your vet again. Good Luck and keep us posted.
