Subject: Re: hairball question

Hi,

I have encountered this problem before and what I have done is mixed
it with Ferretone (cut in half with olive oil) to distract the smell
and texture of the tonic lax it may take a few tries but then you
reduce the ferret tone and eventually they do aquire a taste for it
as well adjust to the texture.

It seems to be the sticky texture they have troubles with. If yours
does not like ferretone perhaps try a raisen or their favortie treat.
To me i just thought of it by chance and it seems to do the
trick...so far! Anyways the best of luck to you and let us all know
if it works! Vex

TV that you can give your cat a little butter and it works the same
way. Will butter hurt a ferret? I haven't tried it yet, but I'm ready
for anything, they really need something to help get rid of hairballs.
