Forgot to say a very long shot (and disinclined to think it fits):
have seen weight loss and lethargy in a ferret with hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy (the more rare and harder to diagnose kind), and have
heard of others who have also seen the combo. Can't recall if there
were runs, though, esp. for a protracted period. In that individual,
medications for her heart problem resolved her other symptoms, as it
did in the others friends mentioned that had that combination.
