I believe that a good ferret food is nutritionally complete, no added
vitamins needed. If you do give a little ferretone as a treat some
recommend that you mix it 50/50 with olive oil to decrease any
chance of actually giving too much of the fat soluble vitamins-
like vit A. Although I think the doses would actually have to
be huge to overdose the ferret, no harm in being extra
careful, plus you get twice as much from the supplement.
