Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] FeLV answers

Hi Michelle,
Did he give you anymore information about it?
I would love to know as I am often at the vet clinic
volunteering and bring my ferret sometimes. I have never been
concerned about my ferret catching it, but take extra
precautions because of my cats.
Take care,
Steph

Jerry and Steph,
Thank you both for your responses! You confirmed what my vet
told me Friday
afternoon. Luckily my cat tested negative anyway. My vet did
tell me there
was a rare "version" of FeLV that ferrets do get though.

Thanks again,
Michelle
(Salem & Boris too!)
