I am so sorry. I know how hard this can be. I wanted to share some
wisdom that I heard on the TV show Emergency Vet - pick three things
that your little fuzzy likes to do. When he/she stops doing those
things - the time has come. The last year has been a real struggle with
our oldest - Busy Bob, who struggled and beat hepatitis this past
winter. I used that as my gauge and knew when he stopped stealing the
remote control or splashing in his water (or fighting with his sister
or putting on a show for his fruit frenzy) that the time had come. So
far so good.
Good luck to you and know that Jojo will be in a better place without
all the pain and sickness when you make that decision.
