Subject: Mikey's lymph nodes
Hi,
I have not posted about Mikey for awhile, as he was doing
amazing. Sunday he was not eating properly. I ended up hand
feeding him. Since then his appetite has been up and down.
Most of the last few days I have had to bribe him to eat. Now
I am even having a problem with that.
I brought him to the clinic and so far the only thing found
was that all his lymph nodes are slightly swollen. There is a
lot of fat around them, and that was all my vet could get with
the needle, but they could feel the node underneath it and
they are larger than usual, so Mikey is scheduled to have one
removed and sent off. His heart rate was 180, which for him
is good. X-rays showed a small liver, but my vet said it is
possible that it is normal for him.
The poor little guy has been poked and prodded so much in the
3 months that I have had him. He is now 6 months.
