Subject: itchy ferret
Hi I have 2 ferrets, both are about 3 years old.I also have 4 cats
who have gotten fleas. I have seen only 1 or 2 on the ferrets, and I
have bathed them, I also comb them every day. They both scratch but
one is really bothered by something so badly that his tail is bald
and he has lost hair in 2 places on his back. I had them to the vet
last fall with the same thing minus the fleas and he had prescribed
prednisone for the one with the hair loss. Where I live there are no
vets that specialize in treating ferrets. Any advice would be
