Hi Lisa, I'm sorry, in all the hubbub, I thought I had posted here. My vet
couldn't see any better with her otoscope than I could with mine, what with
the fresh blood and squirming. Since he's on pred, we're treating him with
tresaderm ear drops for a possible infection. The bleeding has slowed to a
scant amount each day. He goes back on Monday to see about having a look-see
under anesthesia. I gave my vet the contact info for your vet in case it
turns out to be a tumor. Brutus continues to behave normally, with no sign
of pain, except I think his night vision has deteriorated.
