Thought I'd throw in my two cents. Since I first
got ferrets in 1993 until now, I have had 44% (4
of 9) develop adrenal disease. Of course, I don't
know if the incidence rates are very valid until
the ferrets die. I currently have five ferrets.
Of those, two have had adrenal disease (40%).
But, there's no guarantee the others won't come
down with it. Of mine who have died, 2 of 4
developed the disease (50%) during their lifetime.
Earliest age to develop the disease: probably
