Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] Ferret Distemper Vaccine
We recently had shots done for our new shelter ferrets. Doc comes to my
house (which is a blessing). The shots were done and everyone was fine. Up,
around, eating etc. The next evening, I noticed Kim just wasn't herself.
Flat ferret, bright pink paws, nose and gums. Called Doc and we gave her
baby Benadryl. Took about an hour to work but Kim returned to her normal
self. I have never had a ferret react almost 24 hours later. She has been
fine ever since.
