Subject: Vaccinations,Adrenal,Insulinoma problems-is there a
connection?
I spoke with my vet, Dr. Susan Wales, 2 days ago re.
vaccinations of ferrets. Her opinion is that indoor ferrets
should NOT be vaccinated---and wonders if there could be a
possible effect re. later health problems, e.g.adrenals,
insulinomas, etc. I have met no one here in Kelowna,B.C.
Canada that has had these health problems in their ferrets IF
their ferrets are indoors and NOT vaccinated. I wonder if
there has been any research done on the long-term effects of
the var. types of ferret vaccinations on ferret health and
well-being?
