Well, that's what my vet put Champ on. I'm not
actually sure what the proper protein amount would
be for renal failure. I do know that my Lily ate
Hill's K/D for about the last 5 years of her life
(liver problems) and seemed to be fine. The K/D
I'm feeding is feline so it is probably a little
low for ferrets.
Interestingly enough, the TF for Older Ferrets is
not too much lower in protein than the regular
TF, 36% and 33%. I was surprised there was so
little difference. The fat content drops from 22%
to 18.5%. I can't believe that this little
difference makes enough difference to switch
foods. Comments??
