Just a thought, but 1 ml is a volume measurement and tells you nothing
about how much medicine was actually given unless it is accompanied by
the mg/ml of the solution. The diphenhydramine bottle I bought has 12.5
mg per teaspoon. A teaspoon is 5 ml so 1 ml is .2 x 12.5 mg = 2.5 mg.
Dr. Purcell says 0.5 to 2.0 mg per kg so that is a good stiff dose if
yours is the same strength.
