Dear Jackie,
you paid for all the right tests.
The salient features are a high white count for a ferret (I rarely see them
over 7, 000 ) so a 11 seeems high to me. (i have seen 20,000 though)
With resp. signs (breathing difficulty) I would advocate a chest x-ray. and a
good listen to his heart. if he's older heart dz fits the profile more than
pneumonia.
