disease

Umm, does anyone know what tortilla chips smell means? My one
girl smells like tortilla chips/taco shells (many people have
said this) and was adrenal but had the left removed and is
doing much better. She still smells like tortilla chips. What
is the listing for that? :)

adrenal disease

Hi Christopher & list,

regarding adrenal odors- indeed here over & over again we
get varying
smells which in my nose resemble burnt popcorn. I have also
noticed the
more distinct urine smell too-- but that is more a trigger I
find with
liver / kidney ailments... not to say that it won't occur
strictly with
adrenal conditions.

One thing I have found over the years is when an un-tattooed
female with
swollen vulva is presented- the intact ferret will present a
strictly
hormonal smell which is often like coffee, while the
adrenal female will
have a burnt something odor.. this is putting aside the
other signals like
coat condition, patchiness, etc.

We should perhaps catalog a scent / symptom list for
giggles-- how
unscientific!
