Bad form, following my own post, BUT after some reading, my memory was
jogged about an earlier FHL case. Sadly, like your vet said, on this
previous case, it was discovered during a necropsy. From the FHL website
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ferret-Health-list/messages), search for
"cryptocc" (no quotes) in the Archives or jump directly to messages 1799
and 1755. Good info!
