Subject: Re: Odor associated with adrenal disease

I noticed most of mine smell like the corn chips on their
belly, but the tail
is where I detected a difference in smell- along the tail
towards the end-
I have to thank Christopher for getting me to smell their
tails, I think if
anyone was peaking in the window I would have been hauled away
:)

The one with adrenal and the one who is post-op adrenal and
one other
have a smell like urine- or better maybe like a ferret in
heat? hormonal is
also a good description, but I can't think of a better one for
now.
The others have a sweet smell close to grapes-

Patty
p.s. I feed a mix of TF and Ferret store with a little
felidae/eukanuba (10%)
I did once ferret sit and the only way I could tell two
friends ferrets apart
that I was sitting at the same time was to smell them, the one
used a cat
food and I could definitely smell the difference.

Umm, does anyone know what tortilla chips smell means? My
one girl smells like tortilla chips/taco shells (many people
have said this) and was adrenal but had the left removed and
is doing much better. She still smells like tortilla chips.
What is the listing for that? :)
