Subject: Tooth cutting into lip

There is a ferret in the petstore next door to my office. One of his front teeth is poking into his lip and has caused a small hole. Is there
anything I can do to help it heal? He seems to feel fine but I worry about it getting worse if it's not looked at. The petstore will not take him
to the vet but they will let me do minor upkeep (i.e. nail clipping, ear cleaning)
