Check the archives under "renal failure" and
"Champ". I wrote bunches during his illness. He
too spent three days at the vet getting IV fluids
at the beginning. After that, it was sub-q fluids
twice a day, hand feedings three times a day, and
lots of meds. Bloodwork was done every few
weeks. After six months, congestive heart failure
finally took him.
