Hey there, the first bag of T/F I ever bought was involved in a
recall. There was an article in the AFA report about it (check the
AFA website www.ferret.org for exact serial numbers) The problem was
that some ingredient had gone rancid, and it was just as you
describe, it smelled fishy! (My ferrets ate it too!)
Check the serial number, it if begins with 'H' or later, then you
*should* be ok--BUT--if it has a good serial number and smells funky,
I would probably call Performance Feeds, the lady who answers the
phone is really helpful and nice.
