Hi Aisha!
Welcome to my neck of the woods! I also live in Pittsburgh and I use a
vet who's about 20 minutes away from Oakland. She's wonderful. Her
name is Dr Kelly Yeager and she's with Northview Animal Hospital. The
number is 412-364-5353. They have all the latest advances in ferret
medicine, including cryosurgery. She is a great vet and consults with
Dr Charlie Weiss a lot. She has a ton of experience with ferrets and
donates a good deal of her time with our local shelter doing surgeries
on the shelter ferrets. If you have any other questions on ferret vets,
clubs, shelters, ferret people, etc. In the area, feel free to email me
