Subject: Re: Hair loss question

There is no set pattern of hair loss with adrenal disease. It can
and does begin just about anywhere on the body, feet, head.

All three of my ferrets have or had adrenal disease and none of the
three had the same pattern of hair loss. Penny lost hair on her rump
only and had no swollen vulva. Spaz lost hair down his back (his
tail hair only got thin) and Beasley had general thinning on his body
with major hair loss on his feet.

It sounds like adrenal disease is a very good possibility in your
little girl, even if her tail has had no hair loss.
