Sorry to hear about the lack of ferret distemper
vaccines (Fervac-d, Galaxy, or the new Merial distemper).
Since you are exposed to the virus at school, your ferrets
are at high risk for this fatal disease. Can the vet school
order the vaccine for you through Schering for Galaxy or
the new vaccine through Merial?
Can you order fervac-d straight from United Vaccines
(1-800-283-6465)?
I would not use a dog distemper vaccine in a ferret because
it may cause distemper.
