I know I was also told to run a CITE test before beginning
ivermectin
for prevention.

Well, I was just about to apply Ivermectin when I read this post.
I'm not
going to inject the Ivermectin... just a drop in each ear to kill
the mites.
I'm assuming I don't need to test for heartworms when using
Ivermectin
topically. But you know what happens when we assume. I've never
had mine
tested for heartworms, all are pretty healthy accept for ear mites
and
rattail. May I go ahead as planned or should I test for heartworms
first?

Thanks,
