Subject: Potatoe's down again....

Potatoe didn't look so well this morning. Her next follow-up was for
tomorrow, but we rushed it for today. Her 'crit' has dropped to 11%,
down from the 21% it was a week ago Tues. Respiration is high, heart
rate a bit fast, but temp was normal. Eating and pooping in a normal
manner. No energy at all, but with her red cell count so low that
isn't hard to figure.

So what to do now? The plan of action that makes sense to me is to
get her red cell count up as high as I can, and get her in for an
exploratory. I'm going to lose her if I don't do something, so what
am I risking?

Dr. XXXXXX is taking her home again to transfuse the rest of the
blood we still have from the boys. Get her stable again, wait a week,
and get some more into her from some of my other guys (thank God I've
got so many to help). Anyone know the lowest acceptable red cell
value for a decent chance of surviving what I'm sure will be adrenal
surgery for Potatoe? I'm only looking for educated opinions, and you
people are the best source that exists.

Bounce some ideas off me. This little girl has gone through to much
to be lost now. She's young enough, and everything else seems to be
working okay. Why she isn't producing red cells is becoming quite the
mystery. Could her estrogen levels still be to high. She isn't due
for her next Lupron for a week. Last time she took 300mml. Should we
increase this?

Give me some help guys. She's not ready to go yet. I've seen the
depths of despair, and this little girl does not suffer from it.
She's fighting it with every breath she draws. If I believed
different I would put her down right now. She is not ready to go. We
need ideas.
