Subject: Re: Vit A

No documneted cases of Vit A poisoning in ferrets as far as I know, and
in children it is self limited, they get better when the source of vit A
is taken away,
and most cases are eating a diet high in liver of some animals (not cows,
dont' remember
which ones now)
So, the theory is too much vit A is not good and can cause problems, it
would take
a lot, so just giving the Ferretone as directed, or in moderation is all,
your ferrets
will be fine. Can also mix it 1/2 and 1/2 with olive oil, this can't hurt
and you'll
get more for your money, just remember it can go bad after awhile.
