Hi Christina
I've given Melatonin to two ferrets, both with apparent adrenal disease.
My vet recommends giving .75 mg twice a day. The tablets that I have
used are 3 mg tablets so you have to try to cut them as evenly as
possible into fourths to get as close as possible to the recommended
amount. I've had real success smashing them with a pestal and mortar
bowl and then mixing the powder in Ferratone. They've both just licked
it right out of my hand and taken the whole amount.
