My rule of thumb is to have the older ones (3+) checked twice a year
and the youngsters once a year.
One thing I have wanted to do, but never seem to accomplish, is give
their distemper and rabies vaccination six months apart. This would
force me to take them all in twice a year. They would all get a
general check-up each visit. Any necessary tests could be run on
half of them each visit, spreading out the costs.
Like I said, this is what I would like to do. I just haven't gotten
there yet. Something always seems to mess up my plans.
I AM STILL WAITING ON A RESPONSE ABOUT EMMA'S SCENT GLAND (See
message #7336). HELP!!
