Subject: Tails looking dirty, losing hair
Over the last month or so I have noticed first one than another than
another of our ferrets tails losing hair and looking dirty. Close
inspection shows what appears to be blackheads under the skin. I have
tried using "facewash" of my daughter's to clean them and it is somewhat
effective but not complete. Today I brought one ferret to the vet. She
had no idea, but took a digital picture to send over the internet to
another vet whom she felt was more knowledgeable on the subject. Does
anyone have suggestions or ideas for me?
