They can react to the rabies, just not as common, but
you could pretreat with the Benadryl yourself about
a half hour before the shot-
as long as the shot clinic has emergency stuff, like
can get the ferret solumedrol and other emergency
meds in case needed then use them.
My vet will usually not charge me for the follow up
exam if I say I just need the vaccine and had the
exam not so long ago with him.- so you can ask,
go to the more expensive clinic and just see if you
can just pay for the shot.
