I don't know, but it isn't likely anything you are doing wrong because
it is a very common complaint. I recently read a post by someone who
said they put a drop of ivermectin on the tail and it cleared it right
up. That sounds to me like it would indicate some kind of mite. Needs
more vet work, I think.
