Subject: Benadryl before shots
I am getting 2 new ferrets this week and I've already made an
appointment for a check up and distemper and rabies shots. I
just read a couple posts about giving the ferrets Benadryl
before the shots. As someone who's never taken it myself, is
is a liquid or a pill? What is the correct dosage? Is it
safe? What does it do, or prevent? Also, if they do have a
reaction to the shots, what should I do? What are the signs
that they are having a reaction? Thanks!!
